Our Setting
Arena Nursery
Our Darlington Arena Nursery cares for children birth to five, within our carefully designed large, open, airy spaces, two large garden areas, enclosed fields and enchanting wooded forest school area, full of fairy doors and houses.

Forest School
Led by our three qualified Forest School leaders, Monday and Wednesday's we hold dedicated Forest School sessions, creating using natural materials, cooking over fire, climbing trees, pond dipping and spending the whole day outdoors learning with our friends.

Beach School
Led by our three qualified Beach School Leaders we take monthly visits to the Durham Heritage Coastline, where we work closely with Natural England to provide exciting sessions for children learning about the flora and fauna of the sea, cooking over fire, building with stones, creating transient art and being at one with nature.
Our Approach
Nursery is often a child’s first venture alone into the larger world outside the family and the home. What children experience and learn at nursery creates strong, lasting foundations which they build from in later life. We believe it is essential these experiences are of the highest quality, all the way from the food the children eat, to how they play and interact with each other and our carefully planned environment. To make this experience the best it can possibly be, we create our environment to nurture every child’s physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
